Air Handlers

Typically used for transferring heat from a boiler system,
used to heat businesses, homes, offices, etc. These units are essentially hydronic furnaces,
just like a conventional electric, gas or fuel oil furnace but with a radiator instead of a burner.
The fans on these type of heat exchangers make much less noise than Unit Heaters,
but provide the same amount of heat output, but at a substantial cost.

These exchangers can be typically mounted vertically or horizontally and are connected to conventional heat ducting to distribute the heat to the building space, and are controlled by a separate room thermostat.

Some models can be fitted with optional air conditioning.

Available in a variety of manufacturers & sizes - 20,000 Btu to 200,000 Btu
Typically single speed fans, some models are available with optional variable speed fans.
