Calculating Power Requirements Page

Power To Go provides these calculators to assist you in determining the size of generator you require.  They will also allow you to convert one unit of electricity measurement to another.
Calculate:

  • Amperes when kVA is known
  • Converting kVA to kW
  • Converting kW to kVA
  • Converting kW to HP
  • kVA Required to run motors
  • Guide to units:
    HP = Horsepower
    kW = Kilowatts
    kVA = Kilovolt Amps

    I = Ampere or Current
    E = Volts
    P.F. = Power Factor
