The Artisan is unlike any other wood cook stove.
The Artisan's gentle, radiant heat is transferred
through the internal cast iron structure, spreading
the heat evenly to the ovens and hotplate.
By bathing food in heat from all directions,
flavors are sealed in without drying.
Two insulated lids help retain heat on the
hotplate when closed. When open, heat
radiates into the room. The hotplate is made
of one-piece cast iron. Going from a simmer
to a boil is as easy as sliding the cookware.
A temperature gauge on the main over door
provides approximate oven temperature levels.
The main oven is approximately 1.5 cu.ft., and is
ideal for all types of cooking. Gentle indirect heat
radiates from all sides. A second oven below
provides an additional cooking area and operates at
approximately half the temperature of the main oven.
The solid, cast iron construction allows for some
of the lowest clearances in the industry*.
