The Nectre Big Bakers Oven requires one of the following forms of hearth protection
if not installed directly on concrete poured on earth:
1) non-combustible floor protector with an R-value of 2.12 or greater.

In Canada:
C = floor protection must extend 18" from the front of the stove and
and 8" from the sides and rear of the stove.
This results in a minimum floor protector:
F = 48-1/2" Deep x
G = 42-5/8" Wide



In a rear vent installation the floor protection must also extend under the stove
pipe / chimney connector and a minimum of 2” (51mm) beyond each side.
